Killing us softly
This video is generally mention the original version of killing us softly movie. Jean Kilbourne was giving a speech about the movie she made and topic of killing us softly. She talks about the differences between men and women. She also talk about presenting style of women and men. She explain the difference while she shows the advertisements. There are many advertisements which show men's muscularity and women's sensitiveness and neediness. We can see the gender differences in the advertisements. Most of them show women as an object and women were innocent. This showing styles in advertisements begin with young ages. We can see teenagers teens and childs who were under the press of men's power. The violence to women become inevitable. Raping, forcing and voyeurism to women will increase with these kind of advertisements and films.
